Baldwin Park Winter Parade

Did you know an estimated 20,000 people visit Baldwin Park for the annual "Winter Wonderland Extravaganza" each December? Lake Baldwin Church is right in the middle of it! This year, we are excited to bring the good news of Christmas to our city by marching in the neighborhood parade once again... and we need your help! There's no better way to bond as a church than serving together, and from setting up our float, to walking in the parade and passing out LBC invitations, to organizing the pizza party afterwards, we have plenty of ways for you to help. We need around 50 people to make this event happen-- would you and/or your small group consider signing-up for one of our volunteer slots? You can learn more, and register, here.

Young Adults Friendsgiving

If you're college-aged, in your 20s or in your early 30s, come join the LBC Young Adults on 11/21 for our first ever Friendsgiving! This will be a fun and casual time to hangout together and enjoy some great food. We'll be at Jim and Cindy Hasenau's house (111 Longbranch Road Winter Park, FL 32792) from 6:30pm until they kick us out! Please RSVP and let us know what dish you'd like to bring by sending Scott Stinson an email: Scott.stinson@lakebaldwinchurch.com. And please invite a friend!

Teaching Fellowship

Have you ever wondered how to be "in" the world as a Christian, but not "of" it? That's the question we're exploring this fall in our LBC Teaching Fellowship class In, Not Of: Being Christian in a Secular Age. This class is for anyone, no matter where you are as a Christian-- we will strive to understand our culture and Scripture in a winsome, collaborative and stimulating environment that will be accessible for all. The goal: To answer the "why" questions. Why does our culture believe what it does, and why is Christianity better? If you have a SPLASH-aged kid, childcare is available; if you have a teenager in Immerse, drop by after you drop your teen off! If you're interested in attending even just some of the classes, please register here. Feel free to email Scott Stinson at Scott@lakebaldwinchurch.com if you have questions!
