Lake Baldwin Church

What another exciting and long day.  We woke up early and traveled to Ducktown, TN to go white water rafting on the Ocoee River.  All the kids had a great time and no one got hurt!  We made it safely to Lee University for Student Life Camp 2011.  We met our worship leader, Matt Papa, and our speaker, Wes Hamilton.  After a short break, we had our first small groups at camp.  They began to diver deeper into the idea of what devotion is.

Wes Hamilton spoke from John 2 :1-11, Jesus at Cana.  He spoke on how the gospel of Jesus was not based upon our works, but rather completely on God's abundant and lavish grace to transform our hearts.  It was not just about our outward appearance, but rathe our inward selves.  We ended the night with coming together as a group recapping the day.  Now we're winding our night to a close on our first official day of camp!  No pictures right now, but I'll try to post more tomorrow!
